Rebrand

UC Today is an online news publication specialising in Unified Communications, Collaboration and Customer Experience (CX) technology. Whether you’re involved in advising, implementing, supporting, or using business communications solutions, their publication and virtual events add significant value to the reader’s UC journey.

The challenge

Traditional publications weren’t adapting to digital fast enough, they were trailing behind and failing to give readers what they wanted and on their terms. Printed publications dominated the UK telecoms press and on the international stage it’s a fragmented market consisting of several small and medium organisations that compete with one another. UC Today understood that for most of the millennials, experience is everything and UC Today was born.

The solution

We created the ‘speech bubble’ icon which is shorthand for communication and is used across all material from the logo to highlighting information or for social icons. This became the cohesive identity across UC Today and its group of sub brands including: UC TODAY.TV, UC AWARDS, UC SUMMIT, UC ADVOCATES, UC TRENDS, UC PEOPLE, MARKET GUIDE and SMART GUIDES.
