Stagecoach is one of the largest bus operators in the UK. Since 1980, they’ve run express and local bus services across the country and continue to play an important role in helping people access work, education, health, shopping and leisure.

The challenge

Stagecoach’s national student campaign is a key piece of activity in the annual marketing calendar – both at group and regional level. It’s an evolving and increasingly difficult audience to reach, given rapidly changing media consumption habits. Creative needs to always be on point and flexible enough to resonate with students from college age through to parents.

The solution

Student life is busy. Not just in college or university, but after hours as well. Using side by side images of the kind of things that fill their day - we not only told them we understood their lives - we made a promise that, wherever they need to be, we’ll get them there for a few pence per day. All drawn together in a strap-line that spans their academic and social lives: ‘For whatever’s on your timetable.
