Auto Trader (AT) is the UK’s largest digital automotive marketplace. It is a ‘pay to play’ platform – retailers pay per vehicle they want to list on the platform.

The challenge

Listing a vehicle is not enough - if retailers want a vehicle to be seen it needs to be as high up in the search listing as possible. Which is why AT sells a number of ‘prominence’ products that ensure retailers can maximise the chances of their vehicles being seen by more buyers as they search.

The solution

We dramatised the benefit of Prominence Products for the retailer: increased attention for their stock and a guaranteed audience on the Auto Trader site. Common imagery that denotes fame and popularity is used to represent the coverage afforded by Advanced, Premium, PPC and Top Spot packages.
